Is it possible to play and dream on online platforms and use them as a stage?

​

In this short experiment, Sahar Rezaei and Aria Baghestani, two artists living in Frankfurt, started to make sketches of a playroom in which their imagination could grow. They chose Instagram for their online live performance. Each one comments on the nature of seeing and perception through imageson one Hand, and the chosen platform which is centered on visual media on the other hand. Being aware of the limitations which are caused by the pandemic, they experiment using cellphones in order to push the possibilities of Instagram as a performance space a bit further.
